Elimination and Reduction of Noise

QuietStone is a noise reduction tile system developed by Sound Absorption UK Ltd which combines significant acoustic absorption capabilities with long life and aesthetic effects. The tile is specifically designed with air cavities which absorb unwanted frequencies of sound to create a more comfortable environment. The tiles or blocks are made of bonded natural material which creates the required air cavities which in turn produces advanced sound reduction properties.

Consultancy

Sound Absorption UK Ltd provides a full consultancy service to achieve the specific sound reduction requirements of our clients. Quiet Stone will absorb a wide range of sound frequencies, can be tailored to the clients specific sound reduction problem and can be molded and coloured to fit the aesthetics of the environment.

Installation

QuietStone is used in panel form but may be molded to contour most environs. Due to its sophistication the product when used in panel form is relatively heavy and walls must be checked for their load bearing capabilities.

Sound Absorption U.K. can arrange a full installation service. The product can installed in the following manner.

Fixed Installation - the product is simply nailed to battens attached to the mounting surface and then the nail holes and grouting between the panels covered with coloured resin and natural stone to provide an invisible fixing finish.

Removable Installation - the product can be screwed to the hidden battens.

Specialised Installation - can be provided for special partitions, outside applications and situations in which corrosion is a major problem.

It is essential that the product is correctly fitted in order to ensure that the sound absorption capabilities are fully utilised. Full fitting instructions will be provided upon request. QuietStone can be provided in many different sizes and depths and can be trimmed on site to provide a perfect fit.

Maintenance

Installed correctly the product will last the life of the building and is relatively service free. The product can be cleaned using normal cleaning methods and can be occasionally washed when required. When installed in arrears where sterilisation is required specialised cleaning methods have been produced to ensure the total disinfection of the panels and the surrounding area.

QuietStone is manufactured in a variety of standard colours but custom colours are available upon request.
