Noise barriers

Absorptive and reflective timber barriers

A cost effective and unobtrusive solution is to install timber barriers. We can offer both absorptive and reflective designs to suit acoustic requirements.

Acrylic and toughened glass reflective barriers

Mainly used in areas where obstructing the line of sigh of drivers or view of local residents should be avoided.

Barriers combining absorptive Quietstone and reflective acrylic or glass sections

These options fill a gap in the market. Giving the high aesthetic benefits of glass with the long life span absorption of Quietstone without the kind of prices you may expect from such a system.

Perforated metal absorptive barriers

A effective method of obtaining an absorptive barrier. Modular construction reduces installation times.

Quietstone applied to barriers

Quietstone and Quietstone Light can be integrated into the design of barriers. Both are completely weather resistant, long life and cleanable. Quietstone is used to integrate into barrier designs and provides absorption without the risk of degradation over time. The lighter Quietstone Light is more suitable for bonding to existing barriers to provide an absorbent face and has the added benefit of being made from 94% recycled glass.

Temporary barriers

Quietstone Light is quickly becoming a popular choice for making noise barriers absorbent. It can be bonded directly to concrete with adhesive and mechanically fixed to timber. Furthermore, it can be worked onsite with standard woodworking tools.
