Wall Cladding
Quietstone and Quietstone Light both make idea materials for absorbent wall cladding in an industrial environment. Quietstone Light would always be used unless very high impact resistance is need. Both can be either bonded to a substrate or preferably mounted on battens or other fixing system to provide an air gap to the rear, increasing sound absorption.
Enclosures
Similarly to wall cladding, absorbent lining for enclosures is made simple with Quietstone or Quietstone Light. Both are highly durable, resistant to weather, cleanable and self bearing which means they can be simply bonded or mechanically fixed without the need for a framing system common with mineral fibre products.
Noise barriers
We have a detailed section on noise barriers. In industrial settings, a ‘one size fits all’ is not usually appropriate. We are happy to help design a solution to suit both budget and requirement and can offer a complete solution or simply absorptive treatment to add to a reflective barrier.
